Maggie Murray Fishell Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a healing modality that addresses the fascia specifically. By addressing the fascia we are making permanent change in your body. We are unwinding any unwanted holding patterns-emotional or physical. A fascial restriction stemming from things such as trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures create restrictions that can create pressure in the body of about 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain sensitive structures. This does not show up in many of the standard tests (x-rays, myelograms, CAT scans, electromyography, etc).

I combine my myofascial training with craniosacral therapy  (a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord), and different forms of energy work.
